NUSAJAYA: The Johor government aims to increase the size of its food production areas by 5,000 hectares come 2018.
State Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Committee chairman Ismail Mohamed said: “The increase can boost the state’s economy and ensure that Johor will remain the country’s top food producer.”
