MORE than RM70,000 was collected for two local charity organisations during the sixth Latin American Festival, which saw a record turnout.
The Caribbean Embassies in Malaysia (GRULAC), which includes Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, collaborated with the Latin American Ladies Association of Malaysia and supported by Plaza Low Yat, bbpark and Federal Hotels International, saw the event held at bbpark recently.
