KUCHING: In Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud’s first Hari Raya message as Governor, the former long-serving Chief Minister reminisces on the people’s support and future challenges such as the building of dams.
“This is my inaugural Hari Raya message to all of you as the Head of State. I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the support you have given me as Chief Minister for the period of just over 33 years,” Taib said, adding he was particularly touched by the increasing support in “every state and general elections”.
