MORE than 1,000 people have so far signed up for the Penang Peace Run 2014 to be held on Aug 10. About 3,000 people are expected to be flagged off at 7.30am at the Penang Municipal Park.
Service Civil International (SCI) president Athimulam Arjunan said the event, the 25th edition, would include a new category — Family Peace Walk — with the distance of 1.5km that would also involve special participants and VIPs.
