KUCHING: Business at India Street Pedestrian Mall, one of the state capital’s oldest areas of commerce, has further deteriorated this year.
Textile shop owner Ashya Shaikh Ismail, whose family business opened pre-Malaysia during the Japanese occupation of Sarawak, said she has never witnessed sales this slow in the lead up to Hari Raya.
