THE first school in Penang to adopt the ‘three-stream’ system has managed to reduce 80.2% of waste produced by the school from ending up in the landfill.
SJK (C) Poay Wah in Tanjung Bungah achieved the feat with a composting system and a recycling process for paper, aluminium and plastic.
