THE crime rate in Section 17, Petaling Jaya, has gone down thanks to the community policing (CP) scheme set up by residents a year ago.
The neighbourhood’s community policing team leader, Elaine Nathaniel, said the area previously had two to three break-ins a month, including carjacking and snatch thefts.
