MIRI: Wildfires have ravaged areas the size of 1,000 football fields in Kuala Baram district over the past month or so already, according to latest statistics from the Department of Environment (DOE).
DOE yesterday said it was preparing to haul the land owners — two major companies — to court for failing to stop these fires.
