KUCHING: The authorities have been urged to speed up the completion of the Saratok Water Treatment Plant in order to solve the water woes faced by residents of Saratok town and the surrounding areas.
Krian assemblyman Ali Biju said Saratok had been facing water shortage for about a month already and the problem was anticipated to worsen in view of the current dry spell.
