JOHOR BARU: Marine police have seized about 19,600 packets of cigarettes and other items worth over RM220,000 following an attempt to smuggle them in.
Southern Region Two Marine Police commander Asst Comm Paul Khiu Khon Chiang said that a team of officers spotted some suspicious activities on a boat while patrolling off Batu Pahat waters here about 10pm on July 19.
