IN conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, The Mines has organised special programmes and promotions for its shoppers and visitors.
A series of programmes are in store, such as the “Raya Packet Costume Contest”, which was held recently at The Mines Shopping Centre.
The contestants aged 12 years old and below showcased their creativity through costumes made from raya packets and to win prizes worth more than RM2,000.
The winners are chosen based on their creativity, talent, catwalk show and their overall presentation.
Twelve children participated in this event, showcasing various talents such as singing, dancing, gymnastics, drama and magic show.
First prize, first runner-up, second runner-up, third runner-up and
eight consolation prizes were given
to the participants.
Besides, The Mines is collaborating with Touch ‘n Go to reward shoppers with exciting redemptions until Aug 3.
Also lined up are an array of Raya performances at the centre stage.
Shoppers can also visit the old Malay street house at Centre Court
for the latest fashionable Malay apparel, delicate cookies and festive hampers.
