MBPJ told not to allow errant restaurant owners to reopen business without follow-up checks


WHEN pressed for time, or even when celebrating a significant event, many of us choose to eat out. However, while the food served at the table might look delicious and wholesome, the kitchens at some outlets, even popular ones, might be in a stomach-churning state.

Recently, a buffet steamboat restaurant in Dataran Mentari in PJS 8 was ordered to close for two weeks by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Health and Environment Department for failing to protect food from potential sources of contamination.
