Give northern Sarawak due attention, tycoon tells Federal tourism authorities

MIRI: Homegrown tycoon Datuk Lau Siu Wai (pic) has called on Federal tourism authorities to give as much attention to Sarawak, especially its northern region, as to Sabah in terms of overseas promotion.

Lau, who is also chairman of Miri Housing Group, said based from feedback, it seemed that Sabah had been getting the “lion’s share” of international promotions compared to those allocated to Sarawak.
