THE Penang Health Department has issued a total of 12 compounds since the start of the Ops Bazaar Ramadan on June 29.
Its deputy director (Food Security and Quality Division) Ku Nafishah Ku Ariffin said that most of the compounds were issued for poor hygiene standards and improper storage of food.
