THOUSANDS of people thronged the Sri Subramaniar Temple in Gunung Cheroh, Ipoh, to witness the consecration ceremony for the RM800,000 seven-storey high rajagopuram (main tower) on Friday.
Devotees came as early as 6am to catch a glimpse of the temple’s yagalasai (temporary piers) where the auspicious ceremony was held.
