KUCHING: The High Court here has ordered Padungan assemblyman Wong King Wei to pay RM7,000 to Sarawak Governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud.
On Feb 26, Wong had taken legal action against Taib, who was then the Chief Minister, to prohibit him from accepting the appointment as Governor.
