ALMOST 1,100 people participated in a 7km walkathon to increase public awareness about the plight of amputees in Malaysia and raise funds for prosthetic legs.
The Walk of Hope, organised by Bandar Utama Dhamma Duta Youth (Buddy), in support of the Limbs For Life Prostheses Centre and sponsored by property developer See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd, was held in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya recently.
