The Star has stepped forward to distribute over 20,000 face masks to newspaper vendors who delivered the newspaper to subscribers in haze-hit Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
The Star circulation and audience development executive S. Manivannen said the distribution of face masks to vendors during the haze had been the normal practice.
