Sarawak’s own masterpieces among 30 selected works at Galeri Petronas’ exhibition


KUCHING: Galeri Petronas’ “Pertumpuan: Senusa Sejiwa”, a contemporary showcase featuring 30 selected artworks from the Petronas Art Collection, includes several masterpieces by Sarawak’s own masters.

The three-month exhibition, officially opened by Sarawak Museum Department director Ipoi Datan on behalf Puan Sri Jamilah Anu, wife of Chief Minister and president of Association of Wives of Ministers and Assistant Ministers of Sarawak (Sabati), provides an exceptional and rare opportunity for Sarawakians to witness the interpretation of diverse sceneries through the eyes, brushstrokes and artistic creations of prominent Malaysian contemporary artists, at their home museum, the Sarawak Art Museum here.
