Australian activist released after five days detention


KUANTAN: New Zealander Natalie Lowrey has been released - five days after she was detained for participating in a protest in front of the Lynas rare earth refinery.

The Australia-based environmental activist was released on on police bail on Friday evening and also had her passport returned to her.
