ANGGEREK became the Division One champions in the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) league when they edged Starbrite-Ampar Tenang 1-0 in the final at the SUK ground in Shah Alam.
Anggerek’s hero was R. Parthiban. The burly striker’s shot, from the right, went past Starbrite’s goalkeeper K. Pubalan. It was indeed a big blow to Pubalan and his teammates as they had the major share of the game.
