Assemblyman: I was looking out for temple's welfare

BANGI assemblyman Mohd Shafie Ngah admitted to using the word “sensitivity” in his recommendation letter to relocate the Sri Maha Karu Mariamman temple in Bangi, but said he was also looking out for the temple’s welfare.

In a text message conversation with StarMetro, Shafie said the word was used because his office in Bangi received complaints from residents in the vicinity.
