EMPLOYEES of the Star Media Group were entertained to a flash mob performance courtesy of AirAsia recently.

The performers danced in sync to songs like Britney Spears’ Hit Me Baby One More Time to more modern Psy tracks at around noon.

The performance at Menara Star in Phileo Damansara II was held in conjunction with Star Publications (M) Bhd’s HR Day and was also part of AirAsia’s BIG Loyalty Programme, which is currently on a roadshow until June 30.

Three fire engine-red trucks will be going around various parts of the Klang Valley to publicise the programme as well as give away BIG points.

The team from AirAsia also held impromptu games while giving away 3,000 BIG points on the day.

One of the winners was Meenakshi Subramaniam from the Advertising Department, who admitted that she had never flown with the budget airline before.

As part of the roadshow, AirAsia representatives were also on hand to register and educate passers-by on the airline's BIG Points initiative, while also disbursing cards to those who had already registered prior to the roadshow.

“Now that I have 1,000 points, I will definitely fly AirAsia,” said Meenakshi.

AirAsia is also running the BIG Travel Wish Campaign with participants needing to make their travel wish for themselves or their families via BIG’s Travel Wish application page at www.bigravelwish.com or www.facebook.com/myBIGShots.

“We have received about 2,600 wishes so far,” said AirAsia BIG Loyalty Programme’s chief executive officer Alice Goh.
