SIBU: Twenty new closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras will be installed in the central business area here before end of the year.
Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) secretary Hii Chang Kee said the installation of the new CCTV cameras would be done with an allocation of RM500,000 from the Federal Ministry of Urban Well-being, Housing and Local Government.
