Up for grabs: Maybank launches its annual four-day Treats Fair at Midvalley Exhibition Centre.
MAYBANK Treats Fair was launched on Thursday at the Midvalley Exhibition Centre, giving card members a chance to exchange their TreatPoints for gifts and other items.
The fair, marking its 10th consecutive year, will see 10,000 free gifts at the Spin & Win counter, promotional RM10 super deals and 10 million credit points or ‘TreatPoints’ awarded to card members daily.
Also available are counters set up by the police and Kuala Lumpur City Hall to settle summonses and assessment taxes in exchange for TreatPoints.
In adding to the celebration, Maybank is bringing the
musical Mamma Mia! back to Malaysian shores as its exclusive partner.
“In the words of ABBA, Mamma mia... here we go again!
“Maybank card holders will enjoy discounts between 15% and 30% for tickets purchased or redeemed with TreatPoints at this fair,” ” said Maybank Cards Group, Community Financial Services head B. Ravintharan.
The musical will include seven performances from Dec 18 to 21 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
“This Treats Fair is an example of how we are benefiting all card members across the region, so this year we see total sales at
RM23 million, 15% higher than last year.
“We are also expecting redemption of about 2.5 billion TreatPoints and more than 260,000 visitors.
“We are an organisation that believes it is important to be at the heart of the community, not only in business but through social programmes such as this fair,” said Ravintharan.
One of these efforts involves Maybank’s collaboration with Malaysian AIDS Council, where proceeds from the daily 10 Treats auctions, in which card members can bid for various electronic devices, will be donated to the foundation.
The fair is on until tomorrow, from 10am to 10pm.
