SIBU: Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) is serious about implementing its minimum 25 trading days per month on hawkers of the central market here.
The move is seen as a way to ultimately weed out those hawkers who are too old to actively trade and those who rent out their licences and sublet their stalls to others because they are doing something else.
