New escape games test players’ physical and mental powers

THE REALITY escape game Breakout is now open at Avenue K and causing a mini-tsunami as young adults are thronging the 1,800-sq ft shop on Level 2.

“Breakout is a new, thrilling experience for fans of reality escape games — an alternative to computer games. Instead of staring into your laptop screen, Breakout is a physical activity that uses the brain and some brawn as things need to be manipulated, opened or assembled during the game,” explains Leo Cheah, one of the five founding partners.
