A CRIME awareness campaign was launched in Shaftsbury Square, Cyberjaya recently.
The theme was “Community Policing Prevents Crime —Everybody Can Be a Hero”.
Sepang district police chief OCPD Supt Mohd Yusoff Awang said the rise in crime was a community issue.
“We hope to increase public awareness through this campaign.
“It is important for everyone to work together to maintain safety and security in Cyberjaya,” he added.
The campaign is a cooperative effort between Ikhasas Group and the Sepang district police headquarters.
Ikhasas Group director Tengku Hishammuddin Zaizi Tengku Azman Shah Alhaj and Ikhasas Group chief executive Tan Chee Kian were also present.
Superhero Iron Man made an appearance to promote justice, fairness and equality.
The VIPs and Iron Man later helped distribute leaflets to the public on how they could help fight crime in the area.
Shaftsbury Square is an Ikhasas Group development comprising a retail mall, office towers and serviced suites.
