Rotary club gives a helping hand

THE Tanjung Bungah Rotary Club in Penang presented a cheque for RM6,000 to the Children Protection Society (CPS) as part of its programme to help charitable organisations.

Society committee member Chandra Veena said the society, which had been operating over the last 22 years, had 38 children and teenagers under one roof at a rented premises in Scotland Road.
