CLAIMING that political interference in the running of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is the main reason for corruption, stakeholders are calling for a mayor who is willing to put the interest of residents above politicians.
“Corruption in City Hall stems from political interference and no one should have that kind of influence over the mayor or staff,’’ said Jalan Masjid India Action Council deputy chairman Syed Akbar Ali.
