MALAYSIA and China marked their 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties in grand style in Kuala Lumpur, with both sides honouring the past and pledging to take the relationship further forward.
The event, held at the Shangri-la Hotel Kuala Lumpur on Thursday evening, was a prelude to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s trip to Beijing next week where both governments will officially mark the milestone.
