EVERY so often we observe people playing games on their smartphones to kill time, be it in traffic, at the doctor’s office or in a queue. Old-school games, such as Charades, are also available in the app store.
This week, we feature three free Android games which will keep you entertained.
This is known as a physics arcade game set inside the body of a strange creature.
The goal of the game is to go as deep as possible and you would need to dodge the monsters as well as eating the white cells that are keeping you alive. The game is enhanced by special pills that give the blob a weird yet great power.
There are two ways to control the game and that is tilt or touch.
The colours and cute characters are a plus point and more importantly, it doesn’t hang.
This game never gets old and you have to agree that the gestures will have you laughing out loud.
You can draw a new card by tilting your phone up or down. There are entertaining activities from dancing to impersonating to trivia that will challenge even the most well-rounded players.
There are over 45 themed decks to choose from as well.
Some of the categories include TV Shows & Movies, Dance Moves, Science, I Love the 70s, 80s, & 90s, Movie Characters, Accents and Impressions, Animal Kingdom and Act it Out, to name a few.
This game is pretty much self-explanatory. Select two or more adjacent bubbles with the same colour and pop them.
The more bubbles you pop in a single tap – the more points you earn for every bubble.
You can undo moves and there is even a colour-blind mode. Like popping bubble wrap, Bubble Poke does provide some stress-relieving effects.
