Baru: Unlikely for PAS get Hudud Bill passed in Parliament


SARAWAK PKR chairman Baru Bian says it is highly unlikely PAS would manage to get its Hudud Bill passed in Parliament.

Baru told reporters at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly that, while he respected PAS’s “dream” to introduce hudud as it is an Islamic party, “in reality, passing (Bills) in Parliament requires majority votes”.
