More than 1,000 participants show support for preservation of environment

It was a fun day out for family and friends of the Buddha's Light International Association in Klang Valley and they gathered for a green walk at the Shah Alam Botanical Garden. Launch of The World My Homeland Walkathon on May 1.

TO instil the importance of preserving the environment, the Buddha’s Light International Association in the Klang Valley organised a green walkathon at the National Botanical Garden in Shah Alam.

The event called “The World, My Homeland” was a joint effort by associations from Bandar Baru Klang, Sentul and Cheras, which managed to gather more than 1,000 participants this year.
