Water rocket champions to witness launch of satellite in Kourou, French Guiana

MEASAT organised a water rocket competition for the top science schools in Malaysia, where the winning team will be sent on an all-expense paid trip to French Guiana to watch the launch of the new MEASAT-3b satellite in May.

IN CONJUNCTION with the launch of Measat’s new satellite, a water rocket competition was held in Cyberjaya recently, pitting the top science schools in the country against one another.

Held at Sekolah Seri Puteri in Cyberjaya, Form 4 students of 14 schools represented their respective states and federal territories, and competed for the chance to watch the launch of MEASAT-3b live.
