The Mango and Raspberry ice cream has inspired two limited- edition creations that are available at Häagen-Dazs cafes.
BE PREPARED to add other spectacular flavours from Häagen-Dazs ice-cream to your list of favourites, especially if mango and raspberries are your weakness.
Häagen-Dazs recently unveiled its sizzling summer scoop, the Häagen-Dazs Mango and Raspberry ice-cream at the brand’s “Scoop of Summer” party.
Held at Luna Bar in Kuala Lumpur, the event was recreated to look like a summer beach party.
The event saw 150 guests clad in colourful summer beachwear, gathering to celebrate the summer season.
Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Asia distributor markets head of marketing Narubodee Wathanakom said mango and raspberry were the perfect combination for Malaysia’s weather.
“Malaysia is known for its hot summer spells, and ice-cream is one of the most widely craved treats during summer.
“At Häagen-Dazs, we understand that consumers need to define new experiences. We intend to help consumers find those experiences, be it through enjoying a favourite ice- cream or a special summer experience.
“We hope through this Scoop of Summer campaign consumers can experience their own scoop of summer experience anytime and anywhere, with any Häagen-Dazs ice- cream creations,” he said.
The Häagen-Dazs mango and raspberry ice-cream is now in stores and at all Häagen-Dazs cafes.
Also at the party were celebrities Peter Davis, Cathryn Lee and Dennis Yin. Musician Darren Ashley was present to entertain the crowd.
One of the highlights of the night was a team of mixologists who served two custom-made cocktails, which featured the new mango and raspberry flavours, specially for the party guests.
Guests could opt for a “Summer Secrets” cocktail or “A Pink Discovery” cocktail. As an additional bonus, they also indulged in a free flow of Häagen-Dazs mango and raspberry takeaway creations.
The limited-edition creations are also available at Häagen-Dazs cafes and comes in two variations — the “Luscious Midsummer” and “Tropical Passion”.
During the night, guests were invited to join in the hunt for the big scoop contest, where one of the lucky winners of the night was YouTube actress Marianne Tan — who walked away with six months’ supply of Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
Before the night ended, beatboxer Koujee entertained the crowd with a round of beatboxing.
