A 20.2ha sanitary landfill will be built at Kampung Pasir in Semenyih to cope with waste management for the Kajang municipality area.
Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) president Datuk Hassan Nawawi Abdul Rahman said work on the new landfill would start this month and take about three months to complete.
