A resident of Taman Jasmin first noticed the overflowing of the reservoir.
AN OVERFLOWING reservoir in Taman Jasmin, Kajang, caused by a faulty timer, has been fixed.
Taman Jasmin resident Danny Ng called StarMetro to complain about the reservoir in his neighbourhood which was overflowing.
“Why is the reservoir overflowing while we are all facing water rationing?” he asked, adding that this is not the first time it has happened.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) corporate communications and public affairs assistant general manager Priscilla Alfred said the timer has been fixed.
“The overflow was caused by a faulty timer that controls the flow in the tank.
“It has been rectified and there is no more overflow.
“Syabas technicians will continue to monitor all reservoirs and tanks closely,” she said.
