After undergoing a heart bypass surgery, Perumal was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and has to seek kidney dialysis treatment for the rest of his life.

Having had to make lifestyle alterations following a bypass surgery, life was already tough for Perumal Sinnapayan. Two years later, the 60-year-old received another blow when he was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). His doctors told him that he would have to undergo dialysis for the rest of his life.

Perumal’s condition was not detected until late as severe symptoms usually only develop at a critical level. He consulted a doctor after experiencing pain and itchiness during urination and was then diagnosed with CKD.
