Limited-edition movie merchandise are up for grabs.

Limited-edition movie merchandise are up for grabs.

THE Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro will premiere at Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) nationwide on April 30 at 9pm and is available in both 2D and 3D formats.

Advance ticket sales started from April 18 and can be purchased via GSC e-Payment (www.gsc.com.my), via GSC mobile apps (iPhone and Android) and also from the participating cinemas’ ticketing counters.

Fans can also watch the The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro in Dolby Atmos, at GSC 1Utama Hall 3. Dolby Atmos enhances the storytelling experience to create a lifelike, virtual reality of sound and the most engaging cinema experience.

For those watching the movie on May 1, there is a Lucky Bonanza Hour at GSC 1Utama and GSC Gurney Plaza Penang.

Simply present four paid movie tickets for one draw during the lucky hours between 12.30pm and 9pm and stand a chance of winning limited-edition premiums.

Fans can also bag limited edition movie merchandise by participating in GSC’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro website contest starting from April 24 until May 21.

Prizes include The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro diorama, shoulder bag, USB drive, headphone, umbrella, glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, wash bag, earphone, Hasbro hamper, Revlon Cosmetics hamper as well as GSC complimentary passes.

Another unique, superhero movie collectible — the Limited Edition The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro colour changeable umbrella is also up for grabs for RM5 with every purchase of a GSC Combo 3 (RM10.50) at GSC Cinemas nationwide, or a Large Signature Combo (RM12.50) at GSC Signature in The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley.

This collectible is available from May 1 onwards and is on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Predominantly red like Spider-Man’s costume, the umbrella features an intricate motif of spider webs — the kind Spiderman shoots from his wrists — in white. When it gets wet under the rain, the webs turn blue to mirror Spidey’s iconic colours.
