Ipoh City Council needs to ensure trees are trimmed often, say residents

OLD trees and branches throughout the city need to be cut or trimmed to ensure the lives of the public are not at risk of being hit by falling trees or branches.

In light of the latest incident where a falling tree had crushed a Proton Wira belonging to a hardware store worker earlier this month, many people interviewed by The Star felt that the Ipoh City Council should actively be on the look out for trees that could be hazardous and take necessary action.
