Tie-up programme offers MClub members exclusive deals from home and IT retailer

MEMBERS of Mah Sing Group Berhad’s loyalty programme, “MClub”, can now enjoy more shopping privileges at Harvey Norman.

The two companies have agreed to a partnership that will reward MClub members with exclusive deals when they purchase products from the home and IT retailer.

“As a premier lifestyle developer, we always emphasise on improving the lifestyle of our customers. That was why the company instigated the loyalty programme.

“Through our partnership with Harvey Norman, our members can continue to enhance their way of life by enjoying more attractive deals,” said Mah Sing executive director of operations Datuk Lim Kiu Hock.

An official signing ceremony took place to mark the two companies entering into the partnership.

Harvey Norman commercial and projects corporate consultant Datuk Eddy Sik hopes the strategic cooperation would foster greater presence for both brands in Malaysia.

“We have a two-year agreement with Mah Sing, in which we will work together exclusively during the first six months.

“During that period, we will monitor our progress, obtain feedback from customers and explore how we can work best to boost opportunities for both companies,” said Sik.

Lim said that after the six-month period, Mah Sing and Harvey Noman would review and improve on current offers and promotions by looking into customers’ reviews and preferences.

Currently, 16,000 of MClub’s existing members from the M Classic, M Gold and M Platinum loyalty programme enjoy service benefits with more than 70 lifestyle brands that range across home and living, beauty and wellness, as well as food and beverage categories.

Through the partnership with Harvey Norman, members will get 10% and 3% off on usual retail price of electrical items as well as computer and communications items respectively. They will also be eligible for an additional 10% off on top of discounts offered on furniture and bedding items.

To promote the tie-up, Harvey Norman will roll out star offers, giving MClub members a special deal every month for the first six months, in addition to other promotions.

The company will also be inviting members for exclusive viewings and discounts.
