To celebrate Wesak Day, which falls on May 13 this year, the Chempaka Buddhist Lodge (CBL) in Petaling Jaya has kicked off a month-long celebration that started last Sunday.
CBL chairman Liew Chang Huat said this year’s Wesak celebration would kick off with a joint Water Festival, as well as a filial piety ceremony to further inculcate Buddhist devotees on respecting one’s elders.
