SIBU: Complaints of poor business by licensed traders at the wet market near the civic centre here due to illegal hawkers are getting due attention from the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC).
A team of 10 enforcement officers led by the council’s deputy chairman Datuk Andrew Wong Kee Yew conducted a surprise raid yesterday to check on the claims.
