Kepong Metropolitan Park
LUSH green landscapes and scenic views may be some of the things that we keep in mind when looking for a place to have a picnic.
This simple outing need not be an expensive affair - a walk down to your neighbourhood park, combined with food, drinks and a board game or two will be all you need for an affordable yet fun way to spend your day off in the great outdoors.
This weekend, whip up some home-cooked food and bask in the sun (or enjoy the shade of a leafy tree) because the Klang Valley is home to some great picnic locations.
Metro Online Broadcast (mob.com.my) suggests 10 picnic spots worth checking out.
1. Kepong Metropolitan Park in Kepong
Located near the MRR2 Highway, this park’s greenery makes it the perfect spot to lay out a mat and have some good food. Since the Kepong park is also a haven for running enthusiasts, go ahead and burn off extra calories by going for a jog after. You can also throw around a frisbee or fly a kite with your friends and family.
