A RECENT enforcement operation conducted near the North-South Expressway in Sahom, in which plants and crops were cleared by the authorities, was done with the people’s well-being in mind.
Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon (BN-Chenderiang) said the enforcement measure was carried out as the 48.6ha reserve land for PLUS, which had been cleared earlier by illegal settlers, was exposed and could cause soil erosion and landslide.
