SIBU: Local hotel operators are still uncertain whether this year’s Ching Ming celebration, which falls on April 5, would boost their room occupancy.

For years, the festival has become a homecoming ritual as locals working outstation return to their roots to pay homage to their ancestors, causing hotel rooms to be fully occupied.
