JOHOR BARU: Replicas of life-sized safe-deposit machines, bicycles and other electronic appliances made out of cardboard are some of the hot picks among local Chinese here as they prepare for the upcoming Qing Ming festival.

Fow Oon Tebrau Entreprise Sdn Bhd owner Sim Siew Hua said sales for its latest life-sized safe deposit box, which was about 1.25ft high and similar to a real machine, is expected to “hit the roof” within the next few days.
