MALACCA: An officer from Malacca Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM) sustained serious injuries while thwarting a smuggling attempt in a high-seas drama off Kuala Sungai Lukut coast in Negri Sembilan waters.
The 30-year-old officer suffered fractured shoulder and injuries to his eyelids and cheeks but was reported to be in a stable conditionwhile currently receiving treatment at hospital here.
