Thousands brave the heat to attend pre Chingay procession

JOHOR BARU: Despite the scorching hot weather, thousands thronged the Johor Ancient Temple to participate in a pre Chingay procession where the deities from the five different clans were moved to a temporary station.

Chants of Huat Ah! and loud festive drums could heard be from a distance when the deities in palanquins were carried out from the temple.
